Think! consultants are recruited as “smart people who are also good people”. We look for the rare combination of excellent academic background, extensive “sales, management & consulting” expertise, and a history of exceeding client expectations.

Think!’s most successful consultants have a rich background in business to business sales within the Fortune 1000. Their work experience includes: selling to senior executives, major account management, managing a sales force, and exposure to various types of sales training. Many consultants have experience as an Independent Contractor or Reseller and are comfortable with the “personal and professional” rewards of being compensated under a 1099 plan.

Success Profile

  • Minimum 10 years sales & management experience in B2B selling
  • Minimum 5 years selling “intangibles” (training & professional services)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exemplary listening and consulting skills
  • Equally adept at new business development and account management
  • Have a robust existing network
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with sales methodology, sales process, SFA, CRM
  • Capable of selling consultatively-collaboratively-diagnostically
  • Possess strong business acumen, linking business issues to solutions
  • Skilled selling at the executive level
  • Comfortable working through partners and associations
  • Previous experience negotiating with senior executives
  • Experienced facilitating single or multiple day workshops
  • Solid project management experience

What you’ll be doing…

As a Think! consultant you’ll be actively involved in all phases of the client relationship. Typical activities include: new business development (participating in lead generation with Think! marketing, self-generate your own leads), performing business diagnostic with prospects, executive presentations, create proposals, negotiate contracts, facilitate workshops, mentor client teams through stages of implementation, and drive the process for measuring client’s ROI with Think!. You’ll also be expected to share “best practices” and be active in company product & marketing discussions.
